Main things I've worked on are redesigning an authenticator app and the login pages for our client facing web app and internal facing web app as well as internal pages.

Authenticator App

One of the designs I worked on from March 2023-August 2023 was redesigning the authenticator app. The issues with the previous one was it was outdated, it hadn't been updated or looked at in years and it needed some updates. It also didn't show important information like the user's name or the company they're with.

Logo Design

I wanted to incorporate a lock into the GPS logo so users would be able to know that this was an authenticator app. These were the few drafts I had come up with and some feedback I had gotten was that the shield was visually more appealing to users. I ultimately selected the bottom middle but wanted it to look less flat, so I played around with the brand's colors and tried different ways to display the colors. The final result is on the right and adding a gradient was the one that felt right.

I was initially approached and only given the screenshots of the old app and flow and worked through trying to update things visually

One of the things we added was a timer around the globe to let users know when the app would generate a new code

Another task was designing the app icon and the screens needed for the app store for Android and iOS to preview the app.

2.0 Internal Facing Login Page

Login Pages for Clients & Internal Users

The previous UI was from the early 2000s and had not been updated since. To try and update the design to look more modern yet timeless I worked with internal users and got feedback. We would refer to the original UI as "Legacy" and the new as 2.0. We used varying shades of blue to let users know which system they're on. We have internal users frequent both systems. In cases for ADA I also placed the globes on left vs right and a developer gave the idea to add the animation to the globe to catch your eye. I made sure to keep the important elements like the name of the system either FXpert or Apollo, the logo and the "powered by devshack" for the internal system.
